I’ve only ridden my r1250 gsa a few miles since installing the headlight protector but I can tell you that the install was straight forward and easy, and it functions as expected. I put a bit of olive oil on the rubber bumpers to help the plate snap in place more easily.

Almost easy to mount, except I had already installed SW Motech crash bars and the upper bars use the same mounting location. I had to drill the threads out of the nuts welded on the lower bracket and used a slightly longer socket head cap screw and flat washer going down from the top to hold everything together. Once I figured that out it was easy. Looks great.

While there are many other headlight protectors on the maket I feel this one has more to offer. If you want a basic metal grate or plastic cover the other brands may be for you.

This actually ExCEEDED my expectations. I watched the reviews and install instructions lots before I purchased. It was even easier as the nuts came secured in place and I was amazed that it went so easily. I’m not super mechanically inclined but it’s so easy!
The look is out of this world. Quality is excellent. Fit, finish, and feel are all excellent.
This one is the most distinctive one of these kind of protection products out there and worth every penny! I generally don’t add much to my bikes. I would add this to any bike I got if they made one to fit.

I got this for increased visibility in traffic and to protect the headlight on my ‘21 1250gs. As I ride in the daytime, I’vey had several drivers pull over as I approach, and wave me on by. I keep a safe distance when following so I attribute their friendliness to let me pass to the strange amber light pattern they see in their mirrors. It’s great so far on the street and I hope it protects my headlight as well when things get sketchy!

The design and quality are excellent. Being able to switch from mesh to clear guard with a simple tilt is convenient. And you get the added bonus of the best looking guard on the market.
Customer service can't be beat as well. Very quick to answer questions and send pictures of how to install if you have an aux light bar where it bolts up.
